6. Friendly Chapta
Type and purpose of processing
Friendly Captcha is a new, privacy-friendly protection solution that makes it more difficult for automated programs and scripts (known as “bots”) to use websites. Friendly Captcha thus protects websites from misuse.
The service user integrates a program code from Friendly Captcha into certain areas of their website (e.g., in a contact form). This causes the visitor's device to establish a connection to the Friendly Captcha servers in connection with the protected area (e.g., when submitting a contact form).
The visitor's browser receives a calculation task from Friendly Captcha. The complexity of the calculation task depends on various risk factors. The visitor's device solves the calculation task, which uses certain system resources, and sends the calculation result to the service user's web server. The service user contacts the Friendly Captcha server via an interface and receives a response indicating whether the puzzle has been solved correctly by the device.
In addition, the visitor's browser transmits connection data, environmental data, interaction data, and functional data to Friendly Captcha. Friendly Captcha evaluates this data and determines how likely it is that the user is human or a bot and transmits the result to the service user.
Depending on this, the service user can treat access to their website or individual functions as human or potentially machine-generated.
Further information on data protection when using Friendly Captcha and on information processed on the end device can be found in the privacy policy of the service user who has integrated Friendly Captcha into their website.
· All data is used exclusively for the detection and handling of potential bots and risks as described above. The purpose of processing is therefore to ensure the security and functionality of websites.
· Friendly Captcha does not use the data to identify a natural person or for marketing purposes.
· Friendly Captcha does not store any personal data of the visitor. Data that could identify the visitor (such as IP addresses) is anonymized using one-way hashing.
· Friendly Captcha does not use HTTP cookies and does not store any data in persistent browser memory.
Legal
basis The data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Re
The recipients of the data are technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website.
Storage
Friendly Captcha only stores anonymized data.
Object
Since Friendly Captcha anonymizes visitors' personal data using one-way hashing and anonymized data is not subject to data protection law, no right to object can be exercised through them.
7. Downloading and uploading files
Type and purpose of processing
We offer several services on our website for downloading and uploading files. This is necessary to enable you to exchange data with us.

In the event of such an incident, server log files will be stored until the security incident has been resolved and fully clarified.
Provision mandatory or necessary
The provision of file downloads and uploads is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the IP address, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed.
Object
The collection of user data for the provision of the service for downloading and uploading files via the website and the associated storage of the data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.

For this purpose, we log the registration for the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email, and the receipt of the response requested therein.
We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files stored on our website. For the evaluations, we link the aforementioned data and the web beacons to your email address and an individual ID. Links contained in the newsletter also contain this ID. The data is collected exclusively in pseudonymized form. The IDs are therefore not linked to your other personal data, and direct personal identification is therefore excluded.
The log data is processed for statistical purposes and to improve the quality of the website, in particular the stability and security of the connection. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

10. Integration of YouTube for displaying and playing videos

According to YouTube, this information is used, among other things, to compile video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent misuse. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account when you click on a video. If you do not want this association with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interests in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right. When using YouTube, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.
