What do I have to bear in mind when applying?

Make sure that your documents are complete and clearly arranged. This includes: CV, relevant references and certificates - and ideally a short cover letter explaining why you are a good fit for us.

When do I have to apply and when does the apprenticeship/dual study program start?

The application period usually starts in June of the year before the start of the apprenticeship or dual study program.

Apprenticeships begin in September. Dual study program begin in October.

How does the application process work?

Once we have received your application, we will carefully review your documents, and, if successful, invite you to an interview. There you will get to know DUNGS better - and we will get to know you. You will then receive prompt feedback as to whether you have been offered an apprenticeship or study placement with us.

What school-leaving qualification do I need for an apprenticeship at DUNGS?

This depends on the position in question. You can find the exact requirements in the job advertisements on our homepage. The school-leaving certificate required for each apprenticeship or field of study is specified there.

What do I earn during my apprenticeship/dual study program?

Remuneration is based on the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry and is above average. You will receive detailed information during the interview or on request.

How much vacation time do I have?

30 vacation days per year.

What benefits do I have as an apprentice or dual student at DUNGS?

You will benefit from amongst other things:

What are my chances of being offered a job after my apprenticeship/studies?

Upon successful completion, we guarantee you a job for at least one year. After that, subject to business demands and personal performance, there is a very good chance of long-term employment.
